Hi, my wife and I are hoping to travel the Oodnadatta Track in June this year from south to north.
Any one got any tips, re, weather, traffic etc. We will be driving a lifted Prado set up for remote touring with a purpose built camper trailer, John

Oodnadatta Track Tips

Hi John,

Who can predict the weather? When you look at this graphic you'll see that rainfall was way above average nearly all over Australia. But we can hope!

I talked a bit about traffic on the Oodnadatta Track in the last post on this page.

Just check the road conditions before you go, talk with fellow travellers and locals on your way, this is the best advice to get the most recent information.
