Sunset on a Sydney Harbour cruise

We finished our exciting journey to Australia with three nights in a luxury hotel in Sydney - the Shangri-La. Wow, we felt like celebrities!

The service was friendly and outstanding. The stunning views over Sydney harbour from our spacious room took our breath away.

The hotel is located in the Rocks within easy walking distance to the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, and Circular Quay.

We loved the delicious breakfast at Cafe Mix before we headed off to explore Sydney.

The Shangri-La is a hotel we highly recommend for a stay in Sydney.

Hi Susanna and Michael,

thank you for your submission. I am sure you enjoyed your stay at the Shangri-La in Sydney immensely.

Isn't Sydney a beautiful city? I was only once in Sydney, and this was nearly 20 years ago, and then I fell in love with the Australian Outback, and never returned. :)

Feel free to tell us more about your trip to Australia. Check out the Australian Outback stories page for more details.

And for anyone who is curious to learn more about the Shangri-La in Sydney check it out here.
