Dry weather

Hi Johnny,

Provided the roads are dry, and open, you can drive them any time of the year. However, it might be blazing hot in summer, and not many travellers around, that's why the Great Central Road, and the others, are not recommended to drive in summer.

Carrying 2 spare tyres, repair kits and tools to help yourself when something breaks down is a good idea. This is a remote area, getting a vehicle out there after it broke down can cost you a fortune.

Drive safely, according to conditions (which can change quickly on unsealed roads).
