|
Into the Red CentreG'day, First of all, thank you for subscribing to my newsletter, and welcome to all new subscribers. The Bush Telegraph is the newsletter of Rita's Australian Outback Guide. Don't miss
Rainbow Valley, NT I am sorry the Bush Telegraph is a bit late this month. It has been a busy time since the last edition. Today I'll take you to the long journey along the Stuart Highway, right into Australia's red centre. Some people say the long drive is boring. Well, perhaps it is, especially if you just rush from A to B. Take your time to visit the highlights along the way, do a detour on a dirt track occasionally, and you'll have an exciting journey. Watch out for animals, stop frequently at rest areas just to absorb the nature. Enjoy the stunning Australian Outback. * New pages on Rita's Outback Guide. *
* Outback Guide Reader's contributions * Receiving readers questions and comments is a lot of fun, and it tells me what you guys want to know about the Australian Outback. After all, I am writing this guide for you. So come on, let the questions, comments and stories roll in. :)If you have more tips to add to the existing topics, don't be shy! Hit the comment button and give your advice. We all appreciate your input.
The next three submissions are once more related to Lake Eyre. I've got the feeling that nearly everyone in Australia is on the move to the lake.
See, it is so easy to get mentioned in the Bush Telegraph. We all would love to hear your tips and stories. Check out the Australian Outback Stories page for more information how it works. You'll also find invitations and links to submit your stories on many pages of the Outback Guide. Of course, you can add a comment to any contribution. Let's make the Outback Guide a forum for Outback travellers. :) *Outback Events*
7th, 8th & 9th August 2009 - Mount Isa Rodeo - Australia's most famous rodeo, actually, it is the largest rodeo event in the southern hemisphere.
* Newsletter Outlook* Don't miss the next edition of the Bush Telegraph with more news from Australia and my Outback Guide. The first weekend in September the tiny town of Birdsville goes crazy when the Birdsville races are held. I am not a travel agent. However, I frequently get requests about tour packages, where to book flights, and accommodation options. So I have partnered with online services like InfoHub and Hotelscombined to offer you search tools to plan your Outback holiday.
Have a look at how I built this website, without any knowledge. Learn about the Outback guide secret. It could change your life. :)
If you have problems displaying this newsletter, please read it online at the backissues page. Thank you. |
