Me and my brother are planning on shooting across from Adelaide up to Alice Springs over night.

I'm just wondering if there are any 24 hour petrol stations on the highway.

Should be no problem

Hi Ryan,

that's a big shoot you're planning there.

Well, you'll definitely get 24 hour fuel at Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Cadney Homestead and Marla. Other roadhouses are certainly open 24 hours as well. But things change frequently, so you better ask along the way.

My Stuart Highway page lists distances between all stops from Port Augusta to Alice Springs. You know how thirsty your car is, so you can judge how often you'll need fuel.

Drive carefully, especially at night.
